The area around the hotel is fascinating. Everytime I go for a walkabout, it's a new experience. The other day, I saw a married couple getting pictures in the middle of the street between traffic lights, while music blared from someone's apartment/club (complete with dance lighting), and homeless danced on the sidewalk outside

I must remember not to go there (where is the hotel your staying in again?) I got into an altercation with a pushy homeless guy in NYC who followed us for blocks and blocks asking for money. I saw red (literally) and started yelling and swinging when he and his friend wouldn't leave us alone. I actually scared him away even though he was over 6 feet and I'm only 5'1". Yeah, I was lucky, I know. I have issues when people won't take no for an answer. ;)
