Dude! I got my shoes shined! By a really old Italian fella whose been there for three decades, in a shine booth built right into the ACT theater's wall. They look sex-x-y! The area around the hotel is fascinating. Everytime I go for a walkabout, it's a new experience. The other day, I saw a married couple getting pictures in the middle of the street between traffic lights, while music blared from someone's apartment/club (complete with dance lighting), and homeless danced on the sidewalk outside ( Read more... )

So, back in the summer of '96, I jumped on a bus to San Francisco. I had always wanted to come here to the OTHER Bay Area...except for the Hills and different climates (I've been freezin' mah petutie off), both towns are quite similar.
