I'm a little sad that you guys won't be in B-ville for Christmas. We'll have to wait for next year to come over to your parents' house and get crazeeeeeee.

I don't think that's TMI. Lots of people sleep sans pants! If you were talking about wandering around work looking for the bathroom sans pants, I'd probably worry.

I had X-mas with Rob's family a couple of times. I won't deny that there was nostalgia and sadness, and a sense that I was missing my parents and my home and the way things go at my house. Sadly, it's only really gotten worse, as each year, even if I spend it with my parents, it's never in B-ville anymore. This year, we're in Chicago. In fact, we have to do 2 Christmases. Christmasi?
Hopefully it won't be as bad as the Christmas in Chicago which involved my family driving back on X-mas eve, leaving me all alone on Christmas since Rob had gone home to see his fam. Talk about sad. There's nothing more sad than watching "Its a Charlie Brown Christmas Special" all alone with a bad tv dinner and ritz crackers.

I hate New Year's Eve with a fierce, unwavering passion. Every year, I vow to just stay home and not deal with the bullshit, but every year, I end up somewhere I don't want to be, surrounded by people I don't want to be with, way too drunk and vowing that next year I'll just stay home and not deal with the bullshit. Every. Year.
