I had my second interview a week ago Tuesday, and I think it went pretty well.  From what they were saying, it seems like I am a real candidate, but then again, I'm not entirely sure.  They said it might be 2 weeks before I hear about it so I'm just sitting tight.  I'm not even stressing about it, actually, but I was the last time I posted.  B ( Read more... )

So the long and short of it: I applied for a librarian position at a sound engineering school in Minneapolis, somewhat on a lark.  I certainly have the qualifications, and it's a plus that I know how to play music.

The band wrote a new song this past week.  It's pretty damn good.  I can't really explain how exciting it is to write a new song, and what it can do for the band's overall attitude and mentality.  It's no doubt a joy to make a good song, but I always feel relief and fulfillment; relief because I'm always scared that the band I'm in will completely ( Read more... )

So it's been crazy since I moved, one thing right after the other.  Two days before we moved (mid-August), Ichi got a UTI that he still hasn't recovered from.  He's been peeing all over the house and we have to give him meds twice a day.  It's really frustrating because it's caused by stress and that's harder to get rid of than a simple illness ( Read more... )
