So you're in Europe June to Aug, ish? Or Aug onwards? Can't quite figure that out! :)

The Nowhere Festival in Spain (early-mid July) is apparently good, in a Burning Man kind of way:

If you're around the UK in mid-July, come see world-class gothic bellydancers perform at Gothla:

I'm not sure I could leave Australia for that. (Maybe Bali)

My cousin is getting married in Portugal on Aug. 14.
Why? Is he local or just whimsical?

I want to do a throroughly minimalist European tour, ala Sun Tzu, where I show up with the essentials and secure things on location as I need them.

If you can't do it in Europe, you can't do it anywhere.

Let us know if you are available to visit us. J and I won't be at WGW this time.

You might like reading the No Baggage Challenge blog. It helped to inspire me to pack as lightly as possible for my last big trip, but I'm still a long long way from no luggage at all for anything longer than a weekend away. :)

Inspiring! I love the one-way ticket mentality... not having the spectre over the rest of the trip for when you'll be roped back in to "normal life". It sounds like a journey well worth taking.
