Taking Laura to Chemo this morning. Not sure what to expect. Kinda nervous about that. Hoping all goes well. We'll see what happens...

Went with Bob to Richmond Good Old Days Festival. It was demo derby/bump and run night. Never knew what a bump and run race was so we found out last night. It was kinda cool to watch. Spent the day over Bob's helping him move some things around. Vince is coming to live at Bob's, at least for the 4 days a month that he is home. Bob needs to clear out a bedroom for Vince and his things. We were moving, condensing and re-packing things and re-arranging 2 rooms. Had a pretty good roll going. How many days we've had in the high 80's and 90's and humidity high as hell. I for one, am sick of it all. It needs to cool down and the humidity to drop. I hate when it is this hot, it's annoying. of temps in the 90's. Hot and humid and it sucks balls. I never really did like the extreme heat and humidity of summer but this year, I seemed to be bothered by the heat more than ever. Yeah, granted I have gained a few pounds and I am older. Not sure if that's  it or not. I just wish the temps would go back down to about 70-75ish. Good thing I ( Read more... )

So the BIG Birthday Bash was yesterday. Weather was scorching hot but nice. Seen a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time. Most of the day was pretty good. Seems like everyone had a great time. 50/50 raffle. I sold all the tickets. I actually won. I never win. Donated it back and told Laura to buy herself something nice for her Birhday. Oh the memories. Been spending lots of time putting family videos onto DVDs for Laura. So many memories. Even a few things I had forgotten about. It's amazing to watch how people change/age over the years in like fast motion. So happy that I used to carry my video camera to all family events. Didn't have to work the holiday for a change. Bob and I went to Laura's for a BBQ. Ritch did the cooking. Was pretty good. Ritch's parents, his brother and sister in law and kids were there too.
