Characters: Kaoru Hitachiin, Mio Amakura, whoever else wants to join in. Setting: Entrance Room Time: Night 005, around 1 AM Summary: Kaoru finds himself in a strange house without his twin, Mio comes along to say hi! Warnings: None
Mio had just come out to inspect the island. It seemed as though the island really was growing closer. She felt as though she should have cared about that fact more, but she was just so tired...all she wanted to do was sleep

Pink still tinted his cheeks, but he took the proffered hand without complaint and pulled himself up off the ground. His eyes swept around the room once before settling back on the girl in front of him, looking confused.
"I...guess so? Where is 'here', exactly?" he shivered, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his pants and turning his head to the side as if looking for someone.
Panic started to settle in his mind, but he couldn't panic just yet. No, not yet. Even if it was freezing and he didn't have a jacket, even if he could swear he could hear something creepy off in the distance, even if he didn't know where he was or how he got here, even if...even if Hikaru wasn't here. No, he'd figure this out...he'd figure this out and then he'd...he'd...
Oh God, where was Hikaru? How did he get here?
He swallowed hard and took a deep breath, trying his best to stay calm even though the look on his face was betraying him and showing just how much he actually was starting to panic.
Here...She blinked a couple times, trying to register the word before it occurred to her and a small "oh!" escaped her. That'd been happening more and more as time went on, she was growing tired and distracted, often taking too long to realize the obvious or simply missing it altogether. Fortunately for her that had yet to be the case with the monsters of the house. Not for the first time she wished she had Zetsu with her to keep the explanation moving along. But he wasn't here, she'd ruined that and

For a moment Kaoru forgot his panic, his head turning to face forward once again. "...Right." The notion was just too strange for him. He was in a house, that much was fairly obvious, but a house on a...floating island? A house you couldn't get out of? He definitely had trouble believing that. "So you're saying you live here? But how did...how did I even get here? And where's Hikaru? Is he here too?"
Kaoru didn't really think he needed that last question answered. The sense of dread and loneliness that overcame him in that moment was more than enough to convince him that he was alone here. He would know if Hikaru was here. Hikaru would have helped him up off the ground, Hikaru would be telling him that everything would be ok, Hikaru would be holding his hand as they tried to figure out how to get home. But he wasn't here. He would know if he was here.
He could feel himself starting to panic again. He wanted Hikaru here. He didn't want to be alone.
"I...I do..." She shook her head in response to his second question, unable to answer it. "I...no one knows how people arrive here, but it's always after slipping." There was a long pause as she thought on the name Hikaru. Was that someone she knew? It was hard to dig through the names and faces, hard to think of who she did and didn't know. Zetsu and to an extent Mayu were the only people who came to mind easily. Eventually she decided that she did not know anyone by that name and shook her head once more, "I've...never met anyone by that name. Is that...someone you know
