Well, this definitely had not been in the plan. Crouched and tense in a corner of the entrance room, Rayne didn't dare make a sound, or even breath. Hearing straining to catch every sound, her eyes almost seemed to glow, catlike, in the darkness as she glanced around. There was no one else in this room, but there was definitely others in - where ever the fuck she was

Kallen scowled as she heard a voice cut through the room, clear and understandable unlike the other murmurs behind the saws and hammers. But the tone and the words marked her as someone Kallen was bound to dislike in her mind. Even though now was not the time to be making enemies, she refused to sit back and be babied!

“Who are you to tell me what to do?” she spat, practically having to shout to be heard over the noise. She walked further into the room, looking every which way to find whoever it was that had spoken and managing to spot the shadowy figure near the entrance way. “Thanks for the concern,” she continued without a hint of gratitude, “but I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself, no mater what else happens to be in here.”

The edges of her lips curling upward, Rayne eased farther into the room herself, keeping to the wall. Heading toward the East Hall, she moved in an odd sort of crouch, the edges of her dress trailing along the floor behind her. She definitely knew this room wasn't the place to be, so she kept her guard up, and made sure to listen to the alarms going off in her head.

Eyes staying on the shadows, the dhampir chuckled darkly, shaking her head. "No need to get snippy over advice, little girl." She purred. "But if you're perfectly capable of helping yourself, then I won't save your ass when whatever is in here gets you."

Chopper was very confused as he got to his tiny feet in the entrance room. It was dark like it had been when he went to bed, but everything else was wrong. The room wasn't rocking, and that sure as heck wasn't wood beneath his feet. The room was all wrong, and his nakama were nowhere to be found. Maybe it was a dream? But he felt wide awake, and he had never had a dream quite this vivid. That was enough to set the poor little reindeer on edge and put a look of fear on his face.

That was before he heard a strange sound from the closet, and the sounds of construction all around him. Was that shadow watching him? Shaking, he tiptoed forward, slowly inching across the marble in the entranceway. When he was in front of the closet, he slowly turned his head right to take a look inside. Then froze. Was it seconds? Minutes? He wasn't sure. However, something finally clicked in his mind.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Tears streaming from his eyes and his hands over his head, the tiny deer ran screaming into the grand room.
