Even after sleeping all day, he was just exausted. And he couldn't find Doumeki or Break. He crossed the Grand Room as quickly as he could, sword ready at his side and feet quiet, to avoid calling the monsters down on top of them.
Luffy intercepted a shadow, shredding it and ignoring the attempts at attacking him. He was quick, teeth closing around the shadow's 'throat' and paws pinning it while he destroyed it.
Watanuki startled a little at the sudden snap of arrows, sword rising to bat aside a shadow almost unconsciously, he had only been intending to cross to the kitchen, not deal with newcomers. "They won't stop as long as we're here!" His voice was a hiss, sending the fox ahead with a motion.

Luffy froze for a moment, tail swishing back and forth, then slowly approached the girl, sniffing at her feet curiously and circling her for a moment before wagging his tail, staring up at her with something approaching adoration.
"Wow...." He shook his head, trying to shake away the lingering awe that the obvious magic had left. "How long will they stay like that?"

"I'm... not sure. Normally they run away, but these are just sitting there." Luna fired a cautious arrow at one of the entranced shadows. Her shot missed, snapping the wooden arrow against the floor and sending the shadows near the shot fleeing back into the darkness. None returned to take their place, either, and after a moment or two, they all turned tail and fled.
She gave a little relieved sigh before smiling at Watanuki and Luffy. "I guess that's as good an answer as any. They shouldn't come back for a while." If they acted the way monsters on the Silver Star did when she caused them to run, anyway. "They didn't hurt either of you, did they?"

The fox spent another moment gazing at the girl, then obediently padded back, allowing Watanuki to run his hands over him and check for injury.
"Did you just arrive?" Bad luck if she had, to arrive during the night with so many monsters hunting. The fox seemed fine, even offering his paws to be check for scratches. "Your magic, it's very powerful, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it." Not song based, at least, he'd seen a few rather quirky magicians in his time.
