Characters: Luna, Watanuki
Setting: Entrance Room
Time: Night 18
Summary: Luna arrives, Watanuki's been here, and monsters are out. What could go wrong?
Warnings: Uh. Watanuki? Monsters? A girl with a bad temper?
With a hard, teeth-shaking hit, she landed on her back, head spinning too fast to concentrate. When the dizziness started to clear, she noticed that the sky above her wasn’t quite right.
Mostly because it wasn’t the sky. It was a ceiling.
She groped about the floor and slowly sat up, trying to be careful of poking her hands against the sharper bits of rock, except the rocks were gone, too. The floor was smooth and cold, perfectly matching the room she was sitting in. She cast the place a strange look, standing as she did so, and winced at the sharp pain below her knee. She must have landed on it wrong somehow when she fell, but it didn't seem to be much of a problem after a moment. The real problem was where she’d ended up. It wasn’t anything like Burg, or any other place she’d seen before.
And, oddly enough, there didn’t seem to be anyone around. How could that be? Peering into the next room, she realized the house looked big enough to hold a lot of people; perhaps everyone in Burg with room to spare.
Not that she needed anybody. She could handle this place fine on her own. ...At least, that's what she thought until she caught sight of the shadows now crawling towards her. Groping for the bow she always kept on her person, Luna fired a fast shot into one of the dark monsters, but no sooner did she hit one than three more appeared. They never seemed to run out, no matter how many shots she took at them, and before long, they had her cornered against the door. She tried to open it, but it refused to budge. Trapped, she turned back, bow in hand and doing her best to keep from looking too intimidated by the poor odds.
This... did not look good.
