Summary: Hidan gets trapped under the mistletoe, and has his mind screwed with; his girlfriend BFF tsundere to come save him. Poor beleaguered girl....

"I won't be leaving you behind. Wherever we're going, we're going together, alright? I'll take care of you."
Hidan turned to look as Marta called to them, jogging closer; he looked a little muddled and unfocused, uncertain and almost confused by her presence; the fact that he had been waiting for her to return had been neatly shoved to the side. Why was she back here....? What did she want?
"We'll be together forever; that's what matters." The girl encouraged, releasing his hands and coaxing his attention back as she slid her hands up his arms; Hidan couldn't ( ... )

Too rude for her to overlook, in fact. Not about to let him ignore her in favor of someone she didn't even know, she was just about to give him a piece of her mind when the two, still pretending that she didn't exist, started kissing. That in itself shouldn't have been a bad thing. In fact, were it anyone else, she probably would have found this reunion sweet and romantic, but for reasons she couldn't have explained even if the thought to do so had crossed her mind, seeing these two sucking on each other's faces leaving her more discomposed than ever.

It was the swords that broke them apart.
Hidan grunted in pain as he felt one of the glowing blades drive itself into his back, gasping as he saw another strike the ghost. She screamed outright, shrill and terrified as she started to sob. "Leave us alone! Don't hurt him! Please!" Another buried itself into her side; Hidan snarled as he tried to knock the fourth away, only to find it tearing off the majority of the flesh and muscle on his forearm instead as it hit home against her.
It was the ghost who saw the final sword first; she screamed again. "No!" She dove forward, shoving Hidan to the ground, pressing bodily against him as though she could possibly shield the man against something so enormous; there was no possible way they ( ... )
