How very in-tone with the fic. Cackling like Gaius and the dragon, and idiot like poor Arthur and Merlin, who have no idea they have been chosen for a Middle Ages version of reality tv.

He has to be bored. Imagine, being chained up in a cave, for decades... Of course he's taken to play mindgames with the castle's inhabitants, otherwise he'd go crazy.
