Er... since if you search "Susan Cooper" on the website the only other cover you see is the movie cover, yeah, it's worrisome. *yikes!*

I can only sort of read Spanish, but this does not seem to be for a movie, but a book. I think it's just Greenwitch, in Spanish, and mistakenly labeled second in the series because of association with the film. The picture is scary, but the summary true to the plot of the book. The "release date" was this March. This led me to discover that there are Spanish trailers for The Movie That Must Not Be Named on Youtube, and even the Spanish fans of the books bash it. :)

True it's a book cover but I find it rather worrisome that the 'new cover' spanish version of Greenwitch has just come out this year with what looks suspiciously like a movie cover. I can't seem to find the other titles in Spanish in the major online spanish book shops either...

I think the Dark is Rising Movie Tie In book has the same blurb as the non-movie cover and I was browsing the french version of the movie cover book and the text seems to be the true book one. I mean Walden even has the book blurb on their site at last glance so I don't think that means much.

I'm expecting the worst :(

You mean you think it's a novelization of a movie to come?

I don't know about major Spanish book sites, but I can find all the titles in Spanish published in 2001 and 2002.

I babelfished it and the poor translation comes out like so:

BRUJAVERDE (THE SIX SIGNS OF LIGHT 2)

Ref: DIJ00305602
EAN: 9788408076865
ISBN: 978-84-08-07686

AUTHORS: SUSAN COOPER,
EDITORIAL: INFANTILE AND YOUTHFUL DESTINY
BINDING: Cartoné
PAGES: 176

Date of exit: 31.03.2008
Type of article: BOOKS
The second delivery arrives from the six signs of the light. After the news of the robbery of the Grial of the British Museum, Will Stanton meets with Merriman and its three nephews. And it is that Will is the last survivor of a group of immortal soldiers who during centuries have dedicated their lives to protect the Good against the forces of the Evil.

Two aspects of this worry me: first, that it's labeled as the second book (which sounds, as stubefied_by_gd says, like a link with the film); and then that bit about Will being the last of "a group of immortal soldiers", which seems to be a straight translation of Walden's "warrior" crap. I pray it's just a lazy blurb writer who googled, found Walden's site, and didn't bother to look any further.
