The great thing about Ai Yazawa is that she really does understand clothes. And she actually builds closets for her characters. It's more noticeable in Nana, but she keeps note of what clothing her characters have in their closets and mix and matches those pieces like a real person would. So a lot of times, if you're paying attention, you'll notice an outfit really is just a new combination of pieces they've worn before. George is just a special rich kid fashion student case....

But you do notice the black shirt, the trench, the hipster shades, the boa, the scarf, etc being reused.

I'll do the anime and live action movie next when I regain my soul and finish this one. Sob. The horrors of playing from an Ai Yazawa canon.

Honey, I am a freak.

I plan to do the anime and live action ones next. I also totally considered including images of the studio and making a mosaic of the patterns he wears.

I am a freak.

Haven't even finished clicking through everything yet, but I have to ask if you've put together any "camp canon" outfits for him.

Yes, dresses he's made (canon and in camp) will be a second post.

As for what he wears in camp? Basically any combination of the items in the "camp closet" breakdown. Though there are some men's clothes he has made in camp. Especially since he's tackled the psuedo-victorian characters (hi Link) and jotted down the garment specfications to make his own.
