I swear, one day, soon, I will make a post that is more than just me asking for help. Though, really, it's all you all's fault for being so awesome. ♥ But, today is not that day (actually, today might be that day, because I'm probably going to flail all over Supernatural once I've finished catching up on the flist. and decorating the gummi bears ( Read more... )

Do you make any kinds of soups or casseroles? I put zucchini in my catfish stew, and with all the mingled ingredients, I doubt its presence or absence would make any real difference in taste.

If you do have a soup you think it might go well in, you could make the soup, take out a small quantity of the soup, put in a little zucchini in it, and try it once it's all cooked together. (My opinion of food like soups is that they're better the next day, so you might let the zucchini-ed soup sit overnight before you try it.)

I know nothing about cilantro. I'm sure you're relieved. *g*

Thanks for the ideas! I ended up using one of the zucchinis in a veggie stew and you were right, the taste was negligible. \o/ Now to just get rid of the other one...

And apparently NO ONE knows anything about cilantro. I've been advised to make a dip, and that's about all anyone can tell me.

Yay! I'm glad the hide-the-zucchini-in-the-soup trick worked! (OK, that sounds vaguely dirty.)

But I've found out what to do with cilantro! I'm watching The Colbert Report from May 5th, and he said that he's still having his usual Cinquo de Mayo party, but to make sure nobody gets swine flu from eating the food, he's covering it in cilantro. That way nobody will eat it, because it tastes like soap. *g*

I'm frightened that Stephen Colbert may be the only one who knows anything about cilantro.

Zucchini CAKE is where it is at, my friend.

But as far as cilantro goes, I have nothing to tell you. Cilantro is disgusting. Do NOT make cilantro cake.

You know, I thought you were kidding about cilantro cake. But it totally exists, and it's very DNW. D:

But cake is a FANTASTIC idea, and I'm thinking that's where my remaining zucchini is going to. Everything tastes better in dessert form.
