I haven't recced anything in a while, but I've been reliving my original favorite fandom, and dwelling in the two I'm most emphatic about these days.  It's just great that there's SOMETHING keeping me busy during this long-ass hiatus.

I'm glad I'm not the only oone who loved the Angel/Cordy pairing. They had such a beautiful, adult relationship. I still tear up when I think of that scene in Provider, where they're cuddling on the bed with baby Connor in between them. God I miss that show!

I loved those two together, and now that I'm all into Clois, I finally figured out that my het pairing tastes tend to lean towards the serious!male/sarcastic!female variety. it certainly explains my love for Dwayne/Whitley (A Different World), Angel/Cordelia, Wesley/Faith, Clark/Lois... I guess it's because the woman in each relationship (except the Wesley/Faith, but give it a chance...) brings out the funny/bitchiness in each of the male counterparts. (I mean, yeah, Dwayne was hilarious, but even more so when he was with Whitley).

On the flip side, I loved Monica/Chandler, but that's just because the dynamic is reversed.

I love the Clark/Lois pairing, too. I guess there's something about a heroic guy and a snarky yet heroic girl that pushes my buttons!

I'm just glad I got to use my Angel/Cordy icon. I don't think I've ever used it before!
