YAY FOR NEW LAPTOPZORZ! ^_^ I need to get me one too lol.
well I dunno if you game :( All I know is if you have them backed up on disk it should be ok. Just have to relog on your itunes account to reactivate them on your new lappy. Thats all I know /shrug and I'm the expert on technical compy stuff lol

How old is your sis? o.0 That is so ungreatful! She can go and exchange them! it's not that hard and UG I hate Uggs they are so UGly! >.

She's turning 13 on January 10. My mom even said that she would exchange the Uggs for the color that my sister wanted. My mom knew that my sister wanted Uggs, but my sister didn't tell her which ones until she had already ordered them and received the package. But my sister insisted on being a brat about it anyway and being like "no, you can't exchange them! Once you give someone a gift, that's it! I'll just keep these ones even though I keep saying that I hate the color, and you can get me the ones I actually want for my birthday!"

You can smack her all you want at Gasukan. She's usually less obnoxious when I take her places because she knows that she's there on my good graces and I can send her home whenever I want. But her character is supposed to be the annoying younger sibling of my character, so if she does act like a brat I probably won't care as much as I normally do. >w>

You can copy your 'music'/'my music'/etc. directory over to an external hard drive or large thumb drive and copy things over that way. If they're downloaded iTunes tracks, you may need to log in and reactivate them there. If they're all MP3/OGG or even the non-protected iTunes type, just a copy will do it.

That's why I liked a protection-stripper I had for converting their protected ones, until iTunes killed it off. You can also burn to CDs and re-import (voila, no longer "protected").

About 90% of my iTunes library is imported from CDs. Not all of which are currently in my possession. I can obtain them if I absolutely have to, but I was hoping for a less time-consuming way to do this than importing each CD one-by-one. I don't have an external hard drive, just a 512MB thumb drive. >w>;

You should burn a DVD of your music. That's how I've got my stuff backed up and it works (for me at least). :)

BELATED COMMENT BUUUUT

Merry Festivus Christmas to you too! (And I mean that in a purely secular/commercial way. ;P) And my Roland wishes your laptop a happy first birthday.
