I don't know what came over me the other night but I suddenly wanted to learn something new. You know, I'm a bit bitter towards DC Metro. Around the new year they hiked up their prices, almost a dollar a day more for parking and about a dollar added each way for the actual metro itself (This is for my trip mind you, not everyone's). So I got contacts last week and well, it's going. I'm not sure how I'll like them as I'm still getting adjusted to having something press against my eye but I'm holding out hope.
