You have cats, yes? I cannot stress enough to keep all your threads way out of reach. Not for the nuisance factor, but because they'll eat it, which is very bad for them.

And if you're using patterns, prepare for hours of amusement for said felines unless you lock them in another room while you're laying the pieces out. ;)
