I’ve been a technophile for most of my life. My parents were both immigrants to Canada who’d managed to achieve a good life. They wanted their children to have the same fortune, and one of the methods they felt would help achieve that would be to help us would be ready access to and knowledge of technology

I think technology is changing way too fast and there is no way to learn everything. If I had time it would be nice to learn everything new but that would be a full time job. I recall reading computer magazines for the latest software and hardware and the change was incredible and hard to keep up so I gave up.

I think of the Dr Who episode where a hole opens in the persons forehead and all this information is downloaded. At the time it sounded freakish but if it was possible I would do it.

I also tend to stay away from the latest gadget and change slowly.
