So, Midnighter's hair ....

Nevermind the styling of it--anything conclusive ever made on the color?

Because it is messing with my color keys something fierce -_-

Image compilation of unmasked Midnighter .. apparently no, I don't have something better to be doing )

canon question, midnighter

He was unmasked in Scorched Earth? God, I think I was just distracted by THE SUN totally making out with Apollo the entire comic. ('Kay, not quite the sun, but you know.) I don't know why that was hot to me.

And tattoos whaaaaa...?

I think it's like Power Girl's breast size; it's become a running gag to change it every issue or so.

I had an aunt whose hair turned totally white by the time she was 22. She always dyed it. When I was a little kid, I'd forget who she was because when I'd see her every few years, her hair color would be completely different.

That's the first thing I thought of.

Then I realized Midnighter's boyfriend already has the white hair thing going on. And how often do you really come across young folks with white hair? The odds of two dating each other?

And then I realized I think too much and should go to bed so I cook the turkey and get it done on time.

Mmmm, all I have to add to that is that Apollo's been referred to canonly as blond on a number of occasions. ... Doesn't actually seem to be the case with the color/s used, but I suppose he's supposed to be a very pale blond-haired young man and not a premature .. whiter. Derf, I ARE GUD AT LANGUAGE.

Midnighter claims (in Stormwatch: Team Achilles, so . . . give it what weight you will) that he is a redhead. (Actual dialogue: "That's odd, Midnighter. I never would have pegged you as a blonde [sic]." "Dye job. I'm actually a redhead. You?" Which solves nothing; I merely throw it in because it amuses me to watch Midnighter flirting with a Finn.

Hmmm .. well, he does appear to be a redhead sometimes .. in some panels .. Ah, what the heck. Canon is canon, and none of the other books have offered anything to contradict Midnighter's redheadedness.

Also, that was a very strange issue, from the flirting to the grits ...

*snerks* Oh, the grits. They make sense in the context of the flirting . . . sorta . . . okay, never mind. But it's grits *g*

It's like my Dad always said 'hit the soft parts with your hand, hit the hard parts with a utensil'.
I'm making that up. XD

But he is.
