I walked around in the rain yesterday in a pair of Wellington boots and thought that was as magnificent as magnificent got, then you had to go and be mind-blowing and join the roller derby.

You'll have a fantastic time, I can tell.

But Wellington boots in the rain ARE magnificent. Roller derby is just...wheeeee.

And I am hoping for a fantastic time. In fact, I am determined to have a fantastic time. Nothing will stop me!!

I've tried roller skating, and repeatedly nearly killed myself 8D Wheeeee! indeed.

Like the person above said, wear safety equipment!

I've never actually tried roller skating. I'm a pretty good inline skater (except for the part where you have to stop some time) and I love ice skating but I've never roller skated.

But yes, totes wearing saftey equipment because I will probably get to know the ground a bit more closely XD
