I included Planned Parenthood caregiver because nine times out of ten, I prefer a nurse or a midwife for GOOD medical advice, since they're actually in the trenches, so to speak, and not learning mostly from books... and drug company propaganda.

That wasn't the real Dinah. That was imposter/drugged/something Dinah. Also, the real Deathstroke wasn't in that story (or any other in the last four years) either. I have no clue what DC is up to.

If you want to read a much stronger Black Canary either buy the first 100 issues of Birds of Prey or check out the rejuvenated JLa--most people hate the new JLA but Di is particularly good in it, in my opinion.

Plus she looked like a blow-up doll in the wedding special. *sigh*

I don't read the titles, obviously, but I follow Girls Read Comics pretty closely, and several of the writers there have been expressing real dismay about this whole storyline for a while, now. My friend the Real Comic Geek says that creators go on these weird acid trips in cycles, but that things eventually either even out again, or the title goes defunct.

You would, wouldn't you? But then, there are people who require instructions on hairdryers that implore them not to use it in the bathtub; on tubes of hemorrhoid cream that it is not toothpaste, etc.

I guess this is the same sort of thing. I must have gotten three or four copies in my email yesterday and saw it all over my friends list. *sigh*
