Twilighted?

I'm curious, do any of my fellow TATsonians use the Twilighted site to post their fic? It's a lovely site to use, you get to show off your banners, have your stories organized onto your profile page, keep up with your own favorite stories, etc.

I am afraid, however, that after tonight my opinion of them has turned black. Here's why.

I've been to twilighted. Back when I didn't really have a team, and what I hate most about that site is that it's disorganized. There is no clear way to find a fic if I'm not willing to take the time to go through the 120 pages of 25 stories per page. I was once asked to beta a real person fic, and it took me a second to really understand that she was serious. I could not help her on that one.

Seriously though? I don't think they have any business sending out something that harsh. I've read a little of your story and that list is utter bull. I think it might just be a Team Edward conspiracy to wipe out anything that has to do with quality Team Jacob, but that's another story. Do not let it get to you. That site is a mess, and how dare they take it upon themselves to tell people what is wrong with their work. Just thinking about it starting to piss me off.

Keep writing. You and your work are waaaay too good for that site.

Actually, looking at the list...it's a list of everything that can possibly be wrong with the story...and it's insulting. They weren't trying to helpful, they weren't giving you constructive criticism, they were being assholes.

Same thing happened to me, I was attempting to post my one shot Endings on the site and I got the exact same email send back to me. I never understood why seeing as in my story I follow cannon and have Bella and edward together as well as Renesmee and Jake. I never tried posting on the site again.

I certainly didn't notice any of the things they listed as criticisms of the story. Some of them seem contradictory: canon issue, plot not plausible, and unoriginal content?

The mod certainly seems biased and confirms my bias that Team Edward is batshit and non-JB sites are to be avoided for anything other than porn

*snort* its impossible for me to take Twilighted seriously given the quality of both E/B and J/B stories that they allow to be published on that site. i've seen some shockers. the banners alone are hilarious enough.

hahaha oh man. when i posted MBFW there your banner was so good I felt out of place. like it was the only thing on the page that didn't look like something I could pull off in MS Paint. ;)
