Twilighted?

I'm curious, do any of my fellow TATsonians use the Twilighted site to post their fic? It's a lovely site to use, you get to show off your banners, have your stories organized onto your profile page, keep up with your own favorite stories, etc.

I am afraid, however, that after tonight my opinion of them has turned black. Here's why.

Your recent submission of "Unimpressed : Chapter 1" to Twilighted did not meet our requirements for submission due to the fact that it had numerous problems with the following issues:
--- capitalization
---grammar
---phrasing/sentence structure
--- POV
---punctuation
---spelling
---tense
---word choice/usage
---canon Issue
---plot not plausible
---unoriginal Content
---inappropriate Content as per site rules
---overall writing style

This beta went on to say that I should really look into getting an "experienced and qualified beta" to help me improve my writing.

First off, I would just like to say that I've never claimed to be the best writer, or that my writing style is fantastic and what not. But I found this extremely unfair (not to mention a little hurtful). Twilighted is cluttered with Robsten fic (real person fic should not exist, but that's another rant entirely I'm afraid), and "Edward, a WWII soldier, returns home wounded and broken to his one true love Bella" All Human/Alternative Universe fic (basically original fiction with the Bella and Edward names stamped on it). So how is it that my story, which takes place in Forks, with canon characters, is rejected? I realize that 'Unimpressed' is a little out there, but good grief, I'm fairly certain I can construct a sentence.

It's not that my heart is broken (although I really wanted to show off leithalia 's banner, alas) that it got rejected, I just think this site (or rather, this beta in particular) has a bias towards E/B, and this rejection is showing it.

So, fellow TATsonians and J/B lovers, I would love to hear your opinion on this. There is no need for this thread to be all about me or my rejection, but rather about the not so subtle E/B bias that Twilight fanfic sites have (with the exception of this one, of course), and whether or not people who cannot be open minded towards other people's ships and ideas should ever be a mod/beta on a huge site like Twilighted.

Thoughts? Opinions? Should likexaxdove  take a chill pill y/y?
