This is not something that I would normally post here, but I thought it would be nice to share some J/B fanfic recognition and possibly introduce you to a J/B fanfic that you've not read yet. Last week a lovely J/B writer, wordslinger, aka Candace, was the guest reviewer at a sited called TwiFicPimps.com.

The site is very flamboyant and some of ( Read more... )

I gave this a look over she first posted it, and it is a very thoughtful list. Especially if you want some "reasons why" to accompany a rec.

I thought Candance did a fabulous job spotlighting fics that aren't always recognized. Even I get tired of seeing Fall For You rec'ed in J/B categories and its my own dang fic. It's nice to get a fresh outlook on stories, and I found a few that caught my eye! :-)

*snort* figures that they would all be from ff.net.

well sure you would feel overwhelmed with crappy fics if you only look in a wasteland like ff.net.

sorry authors. snobby author who doesn't post at ff.net is snobby.

btw that comment is not supposed to be a detraction from any of the stories listed. just a general comment in response to the author of the article who said she had been frustrated to find any good J/B fic until someone recced her.

I don't look for fic on FFnet, either. Too messy. But I don't see the harm of posting your stories there. Some readers just don't venture past FFnet. Zenith is complete on ADF, Twilighted, and LJ, and yet I still have peeps over on FFnet reviewing each chapter as I post there. They don't even realize the story's already complete on those other sites.

But you know I approve of your snobbish fanfic ways. Birds of the feather and all that. ;)

I may or may not have been the girl with the list of 40 recs which were mostly lemon-free. lol.

Technically there is no harm posting there. I dont mind people who post here, also posting there (like for backup purposes and so forth). Just things like instances where people say "oh its really popular on ff.net"... sentences like that don't mean anything to me cause... yeah, they'll read any shit over there and call it gold. My eyes are still burning from the popularity of fics like *censors self*

like i say, snobby author is snobby. ;)
