I'm so glad you've gotten into Skins! It's such a fun show. Gen 2 was actually my favorite generation (I'm in the minority, I know), so series three was just FANTASTIC for me and my favorite series. S4...I liked it until the very end of Effy's episode. That's when everything went to shit. But that majority of S4 was pretty good imo. not as good as S3, agreed, but still fun.

I'm in the Freddie/Effy part of fandom, so sadly I have nothing to rec to you, but I just wanted to say "yay!" in reaction to you joining the Skins fandom. =D

It really is! I wasn't expecting the sexytimes, or the drugs - so I was surprised. But it wasn't a big deal; it was mainly just making sure the parentals weren't around while I was watching it so I could avoid some awkward moments, haha. I really liked series three too, much better than what I've seen of series four (I have two more episodes of S4 to go). But I haven't seen S1 and S2.

Ooh, do you have any good Freddie/Effy? I like them too. :) I'm excited to be joining the fandom, heehee! Also, I'm excited to hear about the movie...!

Hahaha! Thanks!! I've watched the interview clips, and the cast seems to get along so well. Loved Kaya interviewing Luke. I'll have to trawl through these at my own pace; it's gonna take me a while (not gonna lie), but I look forward to these! They'll be my study breaks. :)

Woohoo! I love Skins. I've seen parts of series 1 and all of series 3. (It's tough to find online...) Emily/Naomi is my favorite pairing, although I love Emily/JJ. I haven't ventured into S4 yet, because my friend watches it when it's on TV and she said it was pretty terrible. :/ Meh. Anyway, I saw the second generation first, and they're my favorite.

I'd recommend checking out skinselite for graphics. I always end up with a ton of icons when I go there. XD I don't read Skins fic, so I can't rec anything for that.

Yeah, I started with the second generation so I reckon they're probably going to wind up being my favourite. If I do venture to watch S1 and S2.

Ahh! Thank you for the rec! I will be sure to read it - I love twistomatic's other stuff, though I do wish I could friend her/him to see some of the locked entries too. (Some of my flist have recced some locked fics). Anyway, I'm sure I'll love this one too when I get to it! :)

I know!! Especially during the first few episodes of season 1; I thought their moments were rife with tension. Did you see how Effy was looking at Emily? Do you have any favourite Effy/Emily fics?
