skins, skins, skins!
I've recently gotten into Skins, and am really, really loving it. I just finished episode 3 of season 4, and it's all right so far. Not as good as last season, in my opinion, but not bad either. I've heard that the fourth season is supposed to be shit, though, so I'll wait to finish it before passing any judgments. What are your thinky thoughts on the series? On season 4?
If you have any recommendations - be it videos, or Skins cast or other fandom stuff - I'd really like to know about it! I'm only just getting into the fandom, but I'd like to learn more about it and its actors. Even if it is over and I'm really late to the party, haha! (I think the only thing I really know is that Emma Watson and Kaya Scodelario are friends, from those coffee "date" pictures months ago). I also just joined skinsfemslash and skinsrpf; are there any other communities I should check out? Especially for graphics and fic.
Also, if you have any fic recs, that would be great! I love epic fics; epic being long (20 000 words or more) in this case. But I like one-shots too, so really, anything goes. I like Emily/Naomi, but I was also really into Effy/Emily for the first few episodes of season 3, so I wouldn't mind reading some of that. Also, Cook/Freddie/JJ is love. I really dig the Cook/Naomi friendship, so plus points for that. Basically, I'm open to all pairings - as long as you think the fic is awesome and that I should check it out, I'll give it a go!
(Side note: I read "Death of an Interior Decorator" and "Tiny Vessels, Redux" a long time ago, but apparently the author's journal has been deleted and purged? Does anyone know if there's anywhere else I can find this fic? It was really good, and I read it before I knew much about the characters, so I wanted to reread it).
