skins series 4, specifically 04x08
I don't know if a warning is necessary anymore, but just in case:
SPOILERS FOR SKINS SERIES 4 (INCLUDING THE FINALE 04x08)
You guys were right.
Um. WHAT? I was okay with series 4 for whatever ridiculousness it brought up, until the "Effy" episode (04x09).
Firstly, Dr. Foster is creepy as hell.
Secondly, they basically rushed the entire Dr. Foster storyline, which on one hand is good because it means less screen time with the creeper, but also made the whole thing seem... out of place. It seemed to come out of nowhere.
Freddie? Dead? I can't even wrap my head around it.
I fucking love Cook, though; not gonna lie. It was always a love-hate thing with him for me, but overall I think the love wins out.
Also, I'm glad that Naomi and Emily get a happy ending (and that JJ still appears to be seeing Lara).
But can we go back to the point where FREDDIE IS DEAD?!
I mean. I dunno. I had this idea in my head that Cook would go rescue him and they could go make out do BFF-ly things, because I thought maybe psycho!doctor was just keeping Freddie in the basement and starving him or something. Before you ask: yes, I saw the blood splatter at the end of 04x07, but STILL. It's TV. Then again, Skins isn't exactly like other shows. (I have never seen that many sex scenes in a series, though True Blood can probably give it a run for its money). I am just still very much like WTF over the ending, so yeah.
I wonder what the Skins movie will be about, then. The aftermath?
