the beginner's guide to legend of the seeker (s2)
This conversation pretty much sums up why I am writing/picspamming this:

theagonyofblank : IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT MANY BRAIN CELLS, BB.
And why does this show not take that many brain cells to follow?
(SPOILERS FOR SEASON TWO OF LEGEND OF THE SEEKER - EPS 02x01 - 02x12).

Because this is pretty much
WHAT HAPPENS ON EACH EPISODE
OF LEGEND OF THE SEEKER:
1) They try to get back to finding the Stone of Tears so they can seal the gap between the underworld and the world of the living. Because that's pretty important, I guess.
Figure 1. To the left, you have the compass that will aid our heroes in finding the Stone of Tears (SoT).
To the right, you have our heroes, continuing on their adventures to find the SoT.
2) TROUBLE IS AFOOT AND RICHARD, THE ONE TRUE SEEKER, IS V. NOBLE SO HE HAS TO GO STOP SAID TROUBLE.
Figure 2a. To the left, TROUBLE is afoot in the form of dead men hanging from trees.
To the right, you have TROUBLE in the form of a woman asking for help! OH NOES.
Figure 2b. Sometimes, TROUBLE comes in the form of Richard needing help for his man issues wizard powers.
Of course, this means that Cara & Kahlan have to come and rescue him. (But we will get to that later; see point 4).
3) Cara DISAPPROVES of straying from the mission, but goes along with it anyway to please her BFFs, Richard & Kahlan.
Figure 3a. Cara tries to explain to a damsel in distress that Richard the ONE TRUE SEEKER has a QUEST to get to.
Figure 3b. Cara, the only one with any sense in the group, DISAPPROVES.
She tells Richard that it will be DAYS out of their way to go on this NEW ADVENTURRRRR.
(HELPING OTHERS IS FOR LOSERZ, DIDN'T ANYONE TELL YOU THAT RICHARDDD?!)
Figure 3c. But of course, she gets shut down. (What else is new these days?)
Cara just has to roll her eyes and go along with the plan, because no one will listen to reason.
4) Richard/Cara/Kahlan and sometimes Zedd save the day, and all is well.
