Genshiken is a great series. Anyone who has been a manga/anime fan for a while should check it out. You may find something in common with one (or if the geek is strong in you) all of the characters. I want to do more with this, but it was so late last night when I began that my brain just went phbbbbtscribble. Last night was just random doodles while I watched "John Adams" on dvd with Bo. I'm really enjoying the series. I'm definitely paying more attention than I did in school when they were teaching this. I guess it's all in how it's presented.

And so it begins! Sketch-a-Day is croaky's answer to NaNoWriMo and a good (and brutal) way to keep me limbered up for a month. A pic a day means I'll be making more posts too. Hooray activity, right? I invite other artists on my flist to participate. It doesn't need to be a finished sketch, just do something with your arts.
