Now she had to live with the reassurance that her alarm just went off and her security monitors didn't even notice it. Oh joy! Way to make it worth her money. I hope she gets things straightened out there. They expect it was a short, but still... you pay for security and you just get more paranoia.

This is one of my fears. What if the alarm goes off and nobody's really listening...?

I wanted to tell you some of the ideas I had for Andi last night. BBB's got some good stocking stuffers this year. Among them, they have kids' card games like Monster Match, Old Maid, and Crazy 8's, and a few other things I think she'd like. I'm planning on putting a little stocking together for her with stuff like that in it. Given how bright she is and how quickly she's learning, I think she'd enjoy it.

She /loves/ card games. We got her phase 10 Yo! Gabba Gabba and it's one of her favorite. She's an ace at memory games.

As a child, the primate house was one of my favorite features in the zoo. I still like monkey butts.
