I saw the Lego house on my Google reader feed last week and thought I could possibly live with that if I had to. The last one was way too claustrophobic for me - and there's no way you could do anything but sleep in that loft bed! The first one - well, I think the novelty of shifting walls every time you wanted to do something/cook/eat/sleep would wear off *real* quick. But you sure would get your exercise...I did like the blue light window shade though :)
Of course, none of these micropartments are really designed for more than one small-ish person. I would barely fit in the bathroom or up the loft bed of the third one - let alone having someone else in there, too!
Strangely enough, given my love of all things that flip, slide, rotate, and turn into other things, I think I'd feel most comfortable actually living in the third place. Everything's accessible at once, even if it's crowded; I'm not a great fan of having to go through a whole routine to access some function or part of a house, and then another routine after I'm finished
( ... )
I really like parts of the first one, and parts of the second one. I had to live in one bedroom for a year. My desk, my sewing area, my bed, my laundry-drying area, my bathroom, my closet..it was all one room. I quite loved that room. I miss having things a bit more spartan. Seems like I had more time for myself than I do now. I wonder if I put more time into my home than I should.
