Walking bipedal dinosaur robots

Link - http://www.aist.go.jp/no_header/kyouryu.html4MB video of some dinosaur-skinned walking robots. Looks like a tyrannosaur and some kind of hadrosaur, but I'm no paleontologist. They're not terribly fast, but they can turn around, sit up, flap their jaws and blink, and they're self-contained - no cables or ground attachments. No idea how long ( Read more... )

Pretty cool. The noises they make (roars, etc) are kind of pathetic =P

Oh, and the second one is a Hadrosaur--more specifically Parasaurolophus.
