That's one possibility, but more likely is:

1. Not world's smartest adult, or
2. Not a terribly reliable test I took when I was 8.

Methinks my parents and the school just wanted to have something to be psyched about.

Given that it's pretty obvious you'd have a three-figure IQ as an adult, this would have put your 8-year-old IQ at over 200 - which from what I recall is well into the realm of "figures here are not very useful as indicators, and are probably not accurate ( ... )

Out of curiosity, what does it tell you yours is? From here it says 70, and that was how I figured it must be tricking us somehow.
