... I sort of did a similar thing as you, too. I do not, really, think of this as a story about them, quite, despite researching them as I did to try and portray them. I think I've sort of just abused their names and the ease of associative imagery to write out some of my feelings on the crazy shitstorm that is life. And they were merely my vehicles. My hopefully-forevermore-oblivious vehicles.
But I am very pleased you braved it, enjoyed it and wrote such a lovely response!
Okay, seriously, loved your Jude voice throughout this, and I loved all the motivations he has for doing things throughout. You make him seem so real, and also unique - he's not just another person, he's an actor, and that's so wrapped up in his identity as well. If that makes sense.
Also, definitely love how you wrote Susan. And how you wrote Jude's reaction, because he's kind of not allowed to be jealous, but he still is. Because he's human. And so is she. Lots of tension there, and it adds to the realism. Major props to you for writing this so fantastically.
Without a doubt the best RDJude fic I've read so far, and that's saying quite a lot - these boys have a harem of talented writers at their service.

I honestly can't tell you the last time I read a fic this long all the way through - this one drew me in from the start and just hooked me all the way through. Pitch pitch pitch fucking perfect characterization - this is the first fic I've read that has Jude as sexually tormented and hesitant and RDJ completely honest with Jude and, more importantly, with himself about his feelings. From the interviews I get the impression (in the part of my mind that knows without a doubt that they're getting it on, of course ;P) from the way that RDJ looks at Jude like he wants to eat him for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between snack every second of every day and Jude sort of plays along while still looking *somewhat* uncomfortable (i.e. not *constantly* undressing RDJ with his eyes and proceeding to envision unspeakable acts in the midst of fucking
