I have discovered plurk.

At first I didn't think much of it and was reluctant to join. It's no different than facebook and twitter, right? Wrong. Plurk has one important thing they haven't got. Anonymity.

It's like the LJ of short-worded updates. All of the same awesomeness with only a fraction of the word count. I love it. No annoying family, distant cousins, and weird

I've added you over on plurk. I had an account years ago and never really kept up with it but I've done the same with twitter over and over so we'll see what happens this time.
