A friend is looking for a local source for a GPS for a cyclist (although not necessarily a cycling-specific one, particularly noting they tend to be at a higher price bracket). I'd appreciate recommendations for such sources.

My Brooks saddle has finally arrived in Perth, more than 5 months after I ordered it. Most of that time was spent convincing the LBS to make a sufficient amount of noise with the distributor to get something done.
Hopefully I'll have time to collect it later in the week - more then.

Using the nv driver over DVI I was able to drive my TV at 1920x540 yesterday. This was with the stock modeline, the one the TV reports over EDID didn't work. I wasn't shocked. Even better, the TV's 'truescan' aspect ratio mode gave no over or under scan. Still no joy over VGA, 800x600 is still my best result using anything but vesa ( Read more... )
