Room 519 [Tuesday Late Morning]
He'd gotten the call last night. It wasn't unexpected but it was still kinda a drag. There wasn't much left to do but start packing and make sure he was on time to catch his bus back home later today.
Good thing he hadn't brought much.

Ray's decided that Spring Break is the best thing ever. No classes, no clubs, nothing but sleeping, eating and schlepping.
He's awake, at least, for now, listening to sports radio and thumbing through a boxing magazine.

Earth was alive with opportunity. Fresh minds, so very pliant and open, ready to accept God's word, ready to hear God's mission.
He was pleased. The patterns were connecting, ends tying together to form bonds, to make pathways, to light the way to the glorious climax.

After finally coming to the conclusion that he was never going to see his roommate, Ray started taking up more space. He moved clothes around, tossed some things on the extra bed and pushed things around to make more space in the middle of the room ( Read more... ) -
Los Angeles Beach [Tuesday]
Ray's not very familiar with beaches. He's not used to the sand and the sun and the water but he makes the best of it by setting a blanket out for himself and Molly, opening a bottle of water and laying back.
"This is nice," he said, sighing. -

After leaving the area of the manor as quick as possible, Ray brought Molly back to his room and laid her on his bed. She hadn't woken up and he felt helpless. She was just sleeping and that was all.
So, he did what any person would do.
