I do love angst and I was okay with Moist having some, but the flashback of Adora *gasp* buying a pack of cigarettes to burn her sorrows! was absolutely ridiculous. Pump was also not what I wished for at all.

I'm still not over how much better Charles Dance was than Jeremy Irons, MAN. And Stanley, that actor was spot on.

I utterly adore Stanley, he really needs a fanclub. And I agree Dance's Vetrinari is so much more IC.

I got really annoyed by them making Moist responsible for what Reacher did. Moist cost Adora Belle her job, not cause black Friday. That is giving him way more credit than he deserves. The horse backflash made me cringe so hard, as did the smoking bullshit. Did you know that they are having her stop smoking in the second part. *headdesk*

I would have gone for the chocolate.
That scene made it look like people only smoke because they have problems. I don't smoke, but that scene was dreadful.

The chocolate scene was utterly out of character imo. She smokes because she hates being cute and has anger issues, not because she has angst or worries.

A woobification is taking a bad person and giving them angst and good reasons and making them soft, making him feel bad, so that you want to snuggles and hug him i.e. totally out of character. I like Moist NOT having a conscience. He is not a good person, dammit, he is fun.
