It is almost comical watching Billo defend the UC Davis police. It would be funny, if not so dishonest and cruel. He should really rename his show the No No Spin Zone.

It's been mishandled as badly as The Welfare State and the National Infrastructure. Given the rate of progress we had in the 1960's, we're roughly a quarter century behind where we should be.

In fact, after the last moon landing a substantial portion of the program's infrastructure and personnel were essentially tossed in the garbage.

Myeh. The system's unreformable. Too many failure modes, too few success modes. The rate of profit keeps falling; at this point it is more profitable to asset-strip everything and enslave the plebs than it is to build up the economy. Wonder how long it'll take them to just declare martial law and done with it?

Maybe in the UK, but not here in The Republic. Over 90 million Americans own over a quarter of a billion guns. That includes things like automatic weapons and .50 sniper rifles. Plus in many states rocket launchers are actually legal. And lots of US Vets are quite knowledgeable when it comes to IED's.

Puts a whole new spin on The Arsenal of Democracy. lol
