In the context of news that the Obama ozone cave-in decision was Citizens United-related, we find this, from Zach Carter & Jordon Howard at the Huff Post (my emphasis):

Oh, yeah. I'm pretty sure we'll be doing that. Just want to actually hold off until it is 2012, and see if in fact that is still the case.

lol

The way I look at it, we have something like a 65% chance we are now already in or falling in to a new recession within the next 12 months, so I guess I'm of the same mindset as Roubini there, but want to be more certain of it plaguing 2012 first.

The way things have been going, tho, I might change my mind on that any day now :/

TBH if I wasn't overly concerned for people's morale (and search engines, bookmarks etc) I'd recommend changing the community to the_depression :-(

What scares me isn't so much the crooks and creeps we've got now - it's the rabid psychos that inevitably follow them. There was a Fascist march in London yesterday with related trouble in spots stretching halfway around the city, from Tower Hamlets to Kings Cross. The people they were demonstrating against were Muslims, and it turns out that a radical subsection of that community has taken over Tower Hamlets and started hassling infidels, gays, etc.

And don't you Yanks get too smug - it seems Palin may run on an anti-corporate, anti-cronyism ticket... it's like the Weimar years, right down to the austerity budgets...
