Thanks for posting. Even if this is depressing as hell, I wish more people knew about it. I mean, then, the calls for accountable government might grow overwhelming ... yeah, yeah, I wish.

BRILLIANT. I'm sick of hearing self-serving lies passed off as truth and then orthodoxy due to sheer repetition; it does kind of reinforce the theory that Oxfordshire is now entirely powered by renewable energy from George Orwell spinning in his fucking grave.

The amazing thing to me is the extremely small increase during the Clinton years was enough to swing us from deficits to surpluses, but now republicans are acting like that is an unbearable tax rate which would destroy our economy. Like it did in the 90s, right???
