Oh my! Just gorgeous, Dean welcoming Jack into the fold, letting him know that he's family, that he's loved and cared for. There's not a thing Dean wouldn't do for those he loves and I'm so glad that includes Jack.

I think it was Sam and Dean's influence that helped Jack, kept him on the straight and narrow. Sam backing Jack from the very beginning, and Dean giving Jack a chance, coming to care for him as much as Sam does.

He belongs to Sam and Dean, both taking on a parental role, I just love this, so much. ♥

*smishes and squishes you up* Thank you, my loveliest, I'm very glad that you like this, I just couldn't stop thinking about Dean and Jack's relationship, and I just really wanted Dean holding him, because Jack deserves all the hugs and love *nods* He's had such a traumatic first year!!

And Jack already loves Dean so much, and I wanted to get more into Dean's feelings for Jack, because Dean is his dad too!! And yes Sam and Dean were the best influence on him!!

And aww yes, Dean's love for his boys is fierce!! *nods* (and well there are his ladies too, basically everyone who was on my Bunker Living bunny list, if you remember? lol)

Traumatic definitely. He was thrown in at the deep end with no life Jacket and expected to swim bless him. It was so good he had Sam, and that Sam convinced Dean to give him a chance. He’s so deserving of both their love and care. I love that moment with Dean, the bonding and Jake being taken into the Winchester fold. Once Dean gives his love he gives it completely, and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do.

I’m so glad that Sam got to him first before Lucifer had time to mess with his head. He was so vulnerable in his first moments, but Sam being there was huge and I think there was some parental imprinting with Sam.

I’m sure Jack does love Dean, it takes more than blood to be a father, something Lucifer would know nothing about. I think Jack chose Dean to fulfil that role and wanted Dean’s love in return.

I’m glad you’re going to write more. I think what you have is gorgeous.

I get that. Maybe sit on it for a few days and then see how you feel. I’m sure it will be well received if you do.

Aaahh, thank you, bb, and yes, when Dean loves he doesn't do it halfway. And well you know from Jack's side of things with the hug, and tearing up because he's just so overwhelmed to actually receive Dean's love, and yes, Jack chose Dean as his dad, seeing Dean as the Alpha male/leader, and mimicking his actions, wanting Dean to accept him, and especially when he knows how important Dean is to Sam, and vice versa, and with how important Sam(in hi motherly role) is to Jack too. It really does please me that you agree with me on Jack imprinting on Sam *smooches*

So yeah when Dean hugs Jack, Jack is just feeling ALL the feels, he truly belongs. And I mean he hasn't really had much in the way of physical affection really, right? Like I think he's only been hugged by the shapeshifter when she gave him the closure with his mom, and then blahstiel? right?

This is so sweet! I do think of Sam&Dean as Jack's dads, and I adore that Dean opens himself enough to let Jack know how loved he is. That moment of tenderness between them was lovely. Also loved how happy Sam is at the end. <3

Oh my dear. That's soooo beautiful and soooo touching. You had me from the very first word to the last.
They are a wonderful family and Dean shows Jack how much he means to him!!!!

"He let out a huff, trying to temper the little burst of emotion as Jack hugged back and he kissed the side of his head." Awww, this brings tears to my eyes.... What a wonderful little gesture...

Ahhh my darling lovely *smishes and squishes you up* thank you so very very much!! I'm so pleased you like this and that you can feel the love they share! And aww I'm extra happy you liked that line in particular *gives you an extra squeeze* Dean's not afraid to show affection to those he loves anymore, and I just couldn't help but think of his hug with Charlie, and when he kissed the top of her head, she was his little sister, so I figure he can show Jack the same affection.

And I'm glad you like the Sam and Dean part too, I just am so in love with (well them in general but) the idea of them as Jack's parents. And well yeah I mean it's my headcanon that they sleep best when they are sharing a bed, and of course most nights they do end up bed sharing, the only time they don't is when ne of both of them is mega pissed at the other, and well yeah lol there is only shiny love to see here lol
