No, I'm gonna stop paying for my account, and it will revert to the only other account type, which has ads.

actually, only the new accounts are required to have ads. any account that was created before they made that announcement can still remain or revert to basic (w/o the ads). as i understand it.

but still, lj is kinda douchebaggy. i've been thinking about insanejournal, too...

Are you sure a paid account will revert to basic? I don't remember reading anything about that...
