House had made Chase order another set of chest x-rays. The infiltrates had started clearing up, and his breathing was much clearer. The difficulty was mainly because of the drugs, at least in House's mind. So he got the nurse to get his discharge papers in order and Chase to prescribe fluconazole for at home. He was leaving whether Chase liked it or not.
