Grrrr the fence thing would piss me off. I got mad just reading it. I HATE nosy neighbors. If your dog wasn't so nice you could have sicked her on them. I love the houses in your neighborhood but holy tacos, I could not live with the deed restrictions. I want to put up more fences one one side of our house. How far apart do the posts have to be? And what type of posts are they? I wonder if this is something I could do myself and get all the supplies at lowes.
I'm glad you had fun at Disney. Did you go to Epcot? That's my all time favorite park. Wow you travel so much. It seems like things never settle down for you.
Yeah, it did get kind of crazy here for a while. I was trying my hardest not to stress over the situation on the fence, especially since we found out about it when we were in Indy and there wasn't a lot we could do while there. This is going to be a lot different neighborhood than I'm use to living in (our previous one, you could do whatever you wanted and no one really cared).
I'll need to go out and measure between my posts to let you know how they are measured out. I know you can get the pre-cut fences at Lowes, the worse part about it is digging the fence posts and pouring the cement. The posts are wood posts.
As for Disney, we did go to Epcot. We quite enjoyed Soarin' there and would have ridden it again and again if it wasn't for the 70 minute wait to get into it the first time.
Yeah I've seen the fence sections and thought the hardest part would be lining up the posts.
I didn't get to ride Soarin yet. I really want to. The Land Pavillion is my favorite and the boat ride through the green house is the best!! Too bad they changed the name from Listen to the Land to Living with the Land. They used to play this awesome song called Living with the Land. Luckily I have that on CD so I'll never forget it. I'd love to be a scientist in that green house. Giant fruits rock!
Oh, you got to go see Soarin sometime if you like the feeling of flying. They did a nice job with the ride!
And it's been a while since I've been to the Land Pavillion, however I remember being amazed at the size of their fruits and veggies. If only my thumb was that green!
Another fun attraction they now have in Epot is they have an interview with Crush, the turtle from Finding Nemo. He actually does answer kids/adults questions about turtles. We had a kid ask about how many turtle eggs a female lays and Crush turned it around into an question about the sex of the turtles, indicating that all the eggs will be females if the sands are hot and the eggs will be male if the sands are cool. He then joked about this had to be because "Boys are Cool while the Girls are SOOOO hot". He had us all in stitches.
Your welcome, Des. You're now in my database which means you'll be getting at least one card from us a year unless you request to be out of it. I use to be so good at writing to people via snailmail when I was younger, however my life has gotten so crazy I don't think that will ever happen again. I knew I had to get Xmas cards out early this year because I was *sooo* bad about now getting out change of address cards to Bear's family (gee, I only had 7 months to do it).. His family normally starts sending out cards next week, so I kenw if I didn't get these out I wouldn't hear the end of it. Glad to hear that you enjoy the card.
