I stayed away so long that it was easy to stay away, and returning to LiveJournal was a frightening prospect; reinvesting time and words into an old exercise. (Too much like going backwards.) Which is good, since your LJ was what originally inspired me to get on LJ. Remember that stew you made?

Fanfiction YEAH. I'm in a couple of landcomms, did they have those when you were here before? They're challenge communities where you join a team and every week they set challenges, such as: Write a haiku based on the Whedonverse. You get points for your team, and sometimes there's voting, and.....yeah. I realize this sounds crazy.

Right now I'm in scifiland and whedonland but I'm thinking of dropping one and joining fandomverse instead, so I can do Reaper stuff.

OH yes I remember the horror stew. I still have lil chef, though he's mostly resigned to failed attempts at borscht these days.

I don't remember landcomms, I think challenge writing on LJ has come a long way since I was around last, I'll have to check it out!

So glad to see you're back. I like to use LJ in the way I once used late-night conversations in various portions of morris house. I probably should not post all the details that I do (I've held back a select few that make me sound more whore-ish than I'd like) but if you're looking for a laugh hopefully you can get it from mine.

Oh, and maybe we could talk on the phone some time. ;-) Or. Gasp! letter? send me your address (via facebook or whatever) and you will get some snail mail. <3

Sounds good! I miss Morris more than I should admit after so long-- I even shelled out $10 for the 5-year reunion book only to find I was the ONLY morrisite to send in a page.
