This time, I got into Durham. It was a little bizarre; I got a form letter from the head of the Archaeology Department urging me to accept the University's offer so I could qualify for a bursary and I was like, "What offer? Hey, so you got into grad school? Congratulations! Though I sort of wish you were going to Duke so I could drive down and visit you when I actually get some free time in my schedule! Durham, UK is somewhat farther away. :-(

Good luck with your decision. I don't know anything about archaeology, so I can't offer an opinion. All I know is, I decided between Michigan State and Maryland on either the last possible day or second-to-last day. I just wouldn't have felt like myself without agonizing over the decision. Anyway, you could email old college professors and ask their opinion / brag about your acceptances.
