Why Do I Have 70 Unread E-mails!?!

I don't actually get all that much mail from people, and I have an excellent spam-blocker. How is this happening?!
A review:

• There's the weekly pointless e-mail from Replacements unlimited, because I'm trying to find a single saucer in a certain pattern.
• Mass-emails from Target, Borders, Barnes & Noble, because God forbid I should miss out on a coupon

Aw, maaaaan. If I'd realized that you had a YouTube video to favorite beforehand, I would have added to the spam. :D

I love the emailing of LJ comments set up. I am constantly commenting on random people's journals (hello! Friends of Friends!) and I would never know what others were replying if I didn't.

It really feeds the addiction too, doesn't it? If there's ever some time when I go a while without checking LJ, it sneaks into my e-mail to let me know people are saying things I want to hear.

B) I only knock them because I fear them, and I only fear them because I don't understand them.

C) Ha! That's my mom in the background. If she knew over 50,000 people had seen her dirty kitchen tablecloth, she'd be horrified. I guess you do sound a little like my mom, but that's pretty much the end of what you have in common.... OR IS IT?
